hello, i have gone through your question. Thanks for using HCM.First of all i would like to know what was complaint of your mother when she had heart attack? was it similar left shoulder pain as recent one?Because many a times patients have atypical angina in the form of shoulder pain on left side.If it is very similar even though mild in intensity it must be treated as angina and i feel your doctor has rightly optimised medication. If it is not similar then we have to search some other cause like periarthritis etc.I would suggest to take Tab.Tramadol 50 mg twice a day along with your heart medicines for about a week.If she is fine just dont worry.or else depending upon its cause either go for redo angio or consult an orthopaedic surgeon.
my best wishes.Dr.Teli,MD

hello,
I have gone through your query. Thanks for using HCM.
As I understand that your mother has multiple stents in coronaries and her current pain is left shoulder pain. Now I would like to know what were her symptoms when she had heart attack ? was it similar shoulder pain ? If so then it must be taken seriously and you must consult cardiologist again. If it is different then you need not worry and give some time to pain killers,
My best wishes
