My husband has been having difficulty swollowing and keeping food down for the last 4+ weeks - April of 2015 he had all his top teeth removed because of severe decay/breakage. He delt with this for 10+ yrs - lots of decay/drainage. Was previously on Dilantin for short seizure period, but doctor left him on it even after he wasn t having seizures. HIs father died from Gall Bladder CA that spread to the stomach - Grandfather on his mother s side died of Lukemia. He has been having problems with the intermediate upper denture - liner very chemically active. Was in the Automotive Paint industry for 20+yrs - mixing & spraying automotive paint/supplies. He hasn t seen a doctor in 10yrs - Bad with doctors/bad experiences thoughout lifetime. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Mary
dear madam dysphagia what your husband's symptom can be called technically has many causes and a few of them may be related to his long term exposure to paint.
his other illnesses may too be related to the industrial exposure to paint
my request to you would be to take an appointment with a GP and discuss out the problem as he would require detail evaluation before any help can be provided
