What Type Of Environment Is Harmful For A Patient With Recurring Sinusitis?

I am currently filling a case against my landlord for not providing me with the proper needs for my disabilitly I have recurrent sinisitus and I m am not able to maintain the clean environment. I m looking for a statement or information showing what environment such as heat moisture and dark places that hide bacteria can be harmful to my condition for evidence in court

Hi,

Based on the history you have shared, yes some patients if exposed to such an environment may have an increased the tendency to develop sinusitis.

However, if it's causing sinusitis in your case or not can't be established without proper workup.

Allergic and infective causes both may contribute to sinusitis and you should have otolaryngologist review and drainage of paranasal sinuses if needed and to be sent to puss cultures to isolate the bacteria.

And then send swabs from all those areas for cultures to see whether those were causing sinusitis in your case or not.

Similarly, allergy tests like skin prick or patch test may be needed too for any environmental allergen in your environment causing sinusitis.

However, this online suggestion may not carry any weight as evidence in a court of law.
