Gabapentin is a drug used to treat conditions like epilepsy, diabetic neuropathy, tingling sensations, nerve damage from shingles etc. Common side effects are tremors, depression, drowsiness, double vision, swelling of the ankles and feet, rashes etc. The starting dose of Gabapentin, but should be prescribed only by a physician. And the monitoring of the dosage should also be done only under supervision of a trained and experienced physician.
