What Vaginal Bleeding After Non Penetrative Sex?

so i have a question. i was with my boyfriend and he fingered me and the next morning i went home and there was blood on my underwear which i figured was normal because i figured he just broke my hymen. but its been a week later and there is still blood. am i on my period or is this something serious?

There are two possibilities here. Either there was a tear of the vaginal wall or the vulva during the process or the hymen was ruptured, which is rare without actual penetration. Either way, you can notice bleeding until the raw wound heals. If you are on a menstrual period, you would know the difference as the bleeding occurs in bouts and has varied quantity unlike the continuous spotting you have now. Please get a local exam by an expert to see if any active management needs to be done. Else, rest the part until it heals. Avoid tampons and sexual intercourse until bleeding stops. Hope this helps.
