What Will Be Replaced For The Section Of Ureter Tube Removed?

I recently had my second colon resection in the past ten years as the result of colon cancer. During my most recent surgery (Feb.18) it was discovered that one of my ureter tubes had adhered to the area of my colon where the cancer was. As a result, a section of ureter tube was also excised with the bowel and a stent put in. I have to go for a cystoscopy (bladder examination) and stent removal on Mar.31 and I am curious how they will take this stent out and what replaces it because they would have removed a section of my ureter during my surgery. Thank-you; KF
