What Will Be The Contra Indications If Lactrare Was Given To The Infant With Mild Diarrhea?
hi gm one private hospital nurse mistakenly directed baby s mother to give caps. lactare to 1/365 day old child who is suffering from mild diarrhoea. but baby s mother hesitated to give it to the child and enquired with other nurse. she taken back caps. lactare and replaced with LAC FID. pse comment on this and what will be the contra indications if lactrare was given to the child gopi 0000

Lactare is given to lactating mothers and is believed to increase the milk flow. It is not a pharmaceutical preparation and has not been reviewed.

lactare is giving to breast feeding( nursing ) mother to increase breast milk production .
should not be given to child .it can create metabolic imbalane . before giving any drug to child one should be careful .
lac fid is probiotic given in diarrohoea to reduce the stool frequency .
