What Would Cause Pain In The Groin Area?
I have a dull pain in my left groin area to the side of and above my genital area about the size of my palm. Hurts every night when I lay down for about the past 6 months. Doesn t bother me enough to complain during the day. Any ideas? I m not working and don t have insurance so I haven t seen a doctor.

It could be a muscular pain or due to conditions like a hernia.
As a first line management, you can take analgesics like Paracetamol or Aceclofenac for pain relief.
If symptoms persist better to consult a general surgeon and plan for an ultrasound scan.
