What's Caused Dizziness & Racing Heart When The Wbc Count Is Higher?
Last week I was feeling dizzy and heart racing went to doctor and he advised I had a hyperventilation attack. Since then I cannot take my mind of something more serious happening and really worried each time I think of it I get sweaty hands and feet.Got blood test back and nurse advised all was normal bar my white blood count was a little high and advised a infection and they have sent me a referral for a re-test for cbc in 2 weeks. I cannot take my mind off this. I feel ok a little tired but no pain anywhere just anxiety which put thoughts into my head something else is wrong

As mentioned you were reviewed and all investigation showed normal except Total leucocyte count was raised. Leucocytes are raised when any foreign bodies(including infectious organism ) invade in our body to fight against them through different mechanism and remove from our body . So antibiotics are supplemented to have additive action .
Now you are very anxious n apprehended so don't worry n have faith on your doctor . Take anti anxiety drug under his guidance.
