Whats The Cause And Cure For Pain In Right Leg Starting In Gluteus Maximus Upto The Front With Inability To Walk In A 79 Yr Old Female?

i have extreme down my right leg starting in my gluteus maximus down the front of my leg. I cannot walk on it because of the extreme pain. I'm taking Aleve and staying off of it. I can sit down without pain. My primary care physician cannot see me for 2 weeks. I'm thinking of going to a Chiropractor. Tuesday I worked out at the fitness center and did some stretches for my lower back. Nothing I hadn't done before. (I work out 4 or 5 times a week.) I am a 79 year old female on no medication. I called one specialist and the gal said it sounded like a back problem and the doctor does not deal with any back of neck problems.

Hi,
From history it seems that you might be having sciatica giving rise this problem.
Gofor x-ray lumbo-sacral region for having osteo-artheritis or any degenerative changes in your spines.
Go for physiotherapy and short way diathermy.
Take B1, B6, B12 capsules or injections.
Take calcium supplements as well.
Ok and take care.
