Whats The Cause And Treatment For Acidity?

Hi, I have severe acidity problem since last one year. Doctor did not advise to under go endoscopy so have not done it yet. recently he prescribed me Neksium 40 mg one tablet a day. What could be the reason behind severe acidity ? Do i need to undergo any specific test ?

yes. u need upper gi endoscopy for underlying cause, as ur suffering since 2yrs. u can also avoid by reducing waight if ur obese, timely small meals instead of large 3, head end elevation during sleep, relive work related stress. all d best
