When I Go Pee And Wipe I Have Light Red

When I go pee and wipe I have light red blood on the toilet paper. However, the light red blood only appears when I wipe it doesn't go on my underwear. If it does appear on my underwear there's barely any at all and it's dark brown or dark red. I'm on the Depo shot for almost 2 months now. Is this my period or spotting?
