When Are Floaters In The Eye An Emergency?
I have a weird gray floater in my right eye. Over the course of the day, it has become more noticeable and tonight, driving after dark, I have occasional bright flashes in my peripheral vision. My night vision is considerably diminished. Now, trying to read my computer screen, I see a diffuse sea of tiny black specs floating in my vision field. It s like looking through a fine mesh screen. Is this a medical emergency? I am out of town.... on a Friday night. Thanks

of course this is not the medical emergency but symptom can not be neglected and this need to be taken seriously because main concern would be Retina, and if anything gone wrong with it then this need to be ruled out as soon as it possible, if this is unremarkable then this is nothing to worry, hope this information helps, take care.
