Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
How many times can I take gynaset tablet in a day. how many days prior should we take gynaset tablets to postpone periods if my date is 11 and usually I get my periods 5 to 6 days prior so when should I start taking gynaset tablet . please suggest. thanks
You can take gynaset 5 mg twice daily on specific time to delay period. Take 3 days before expected period date and continue till you do not want period. (maximum 2 week). Once you stop pill withdrawal bleeding will occur in next 5-7 days. If you are using any contraception pill then continue it without break to delay period. Take gynaset only when you are not on any contraceptive pill. Avoid stress, take healthy diet, drink plenty of water, do regular exercise.
Hope this may help you. Contact further if follow up needed.
Best regards, Dr. Sagar
