When Can Follicular Growth Be Expected While Having Irregular Periods?

hi..i have irregular periods.now i have taken siphen 50 mg for 5 days and undergone folicular study .on day 16th left ovary measures 7*6 m m right ovary 7*8 mm and endomental thickness 11 mm.can i expect growth in folicles on day 22 as i have irregular periods ?

Hello,
From the sonogram picture, it appears that the follicles are growing insufficiently, while the endometrium has reached the higher end of the optimum mid-cycle level. So, you may not respond by ovulation in this cycle. Also, before embarking on ovulation induction, the hormone status of the body should be ascertained properly and any supplements should be taken to help ovulation. The dose of Clomiphene is usually escalated until ovulation is induced or the maximum dose is reached. Hope this helps.
