When Can Pregnancy Occur After Stopping Nur Isterate Taken For 6 Months?
I went on the Nur Isterate injection early July 2016 Me and my husband want to fall pregnant and if I am correct I ve been on the Nur Isterate injection for approximately 6months now and I am 24 years old .how soon can I fall pregnant or how long will it take to clear out of my system ?
Nur-Isterate injection is a contraceptive injection that contains the progestin hormone 'norethisterone enantate'. Its duration of action lasts for 8 weeks.
Usually, fertility is regained soon after the period in most cases. Certain side effects may persist for about 6 months or more in some cases.
Kindly consult Obstetrician for evaluation in case pregnancy doesn't happen even after 6 months.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Dr. Ashakiran S,
