When Can Walking Be Resumed After Ankle Surgery With Screws?
Hi I broke my ankle 2 moths ago , I had a operation and got 7 screws and a pen, I had my cast on for two months, how long will it take to walk normal again. I still walk with both crutches, stepping lightly on my right injured foot. The cast is now off for 3 weeks

when walking can be resumed can only be judged by your physical therapist or surgeon cause the case complication cannot be assessed with detials provided above. according to details provieded by you plz focus on isometric ankle exercise and ROM exercise more, then move to weigth bearing. all these usually takes 6 to 8 weeks to resume 80% weight bearing walking. but as i said i still depends on the complications after surgery and let physical therpist decide
