When Do Menstrual Bleeding Stop After Taking Pause 500?

Hello.. I have thyroid problem. I am getting regular periods always but this time I have got my periods for 13 days till today. Started with a very low flow & i did some cardio then & it started heavey after 7 days & not stopping now. Someone suggested me to take pause 500 & I took it yesterday 3 times & not stopped yet. I have not too much pain but feeling uncomfortable. What should I do now?

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Thyroid disorder can cause menstrual disturbances. There might be excessive bleeding in case of hyperthyroidism and low bleeding in case of hypothyroidism. However we have to rule out gynecological condition before making a conclusion. As of now you can take drugs like Traneximic acid or Ethamsylate to arrest the flow. Get a thyroid function test(TFT) done to assess the thyroid status. If bleeding persist consult a gynecologist and get evaluated.
