My mother was hospitalized for herpes viral encephalitis for a month (was on acyclovir inj and antiseizure medication). She is discharged from hospital around 2 weeks back. Currently she is not able to speak properly or walk (Though mobility and speech has improved from what it was earlier). She is also also attended by physiotherapist everyday to improve mobility. She is on fluids and most times she vomits out. she is also currently on antiseizure medicine. She can remember 90-95%of the things. Her head sometimes shakes left and right. Could someone possibly tell what time it may take to improve mobility and speech. What care need to be taken to improve her faster. What diet should be given to her as she sometimes vomits out. Due to constant bed rest and sleep she could not sleep well too at night.
