When Do Periods Begin After Taking Duphaston?

Hello Doc. I took Duphaston for 5 days (twice a day) as advised by my OB. It s already 8th day since the last day I took duphaston yet I do not have my menstruation. I had pregnancy test this morning and it turned to be negative. What does this mean? I have symptoms like nausea, vomitting, tender breasts, pain in my uterus and sometimes backpain for 2 weeks already. Could it be possible that I am pregnant? Thank you.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Arterial tension at this level is high, you should monitor it at least for one week, twice a day, write values at textbook . Meantime try to talk to your daughter to solve together what worries she has, make a walk with her every day. She may cut coffee at least at afternoons en evening so she can sleep well. At the end of the week tell your doctor her arterial tension values and how she feels. If arterial tension remains in high levels don't hesitate to talk sooner with your family physician.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
