When Do Periods Begin After Taking Primolut N?

Hello doctor. I have PCOS and usually no periods. My gynecologist put me on Primolut N tables, twice a day for 5 days. I stopped them 6 days ago. Yesterday I had cramps, back pain and pink discharge, like a very light period, but today I don't. Should I wait more days?

hello welcome to healthcaremagic.

for pcod, treatment varies from person to person.

for eg- person having infertility is treated with clomiphene and ivi cycles.
person with irregular periods are treated with ocps or pops(in your case)

treatment for PCOD is not short term for liek 5 days or so.

it atleast lasts for 3 cycles

i am quite sure that your doctor would have prescribed your medications for much longer period.

i would like you to visit your doctor again. and discuss all your complaints with her.

also you need some investigations to be done like s.testosterone levels, USG pelvis, abdo.

i hope this helps. please feel free to revert back.
thank you
