Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
i usually have regularv periods but this time i am late.... i checked in the pregnanacy kit, it came out negative... i did not have any intercourse in the last month. my gynae told me to have regesteron tablets 3 daily for 4 days... when will my priods start again
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice. You have not did any sexual intercourse and pregnancy test was negative rule out the pregnancy. So your period could be delayed due to hormonal imbalance. Regesteron contain progesterone and it will help in induce the period. Withdrawal bleeding will occur in 5 to 7 days after stopping the pill. Meanwhile avoid stress, take healthy diet, drink plenty of water and do regular exercise.
Hope this may help you. Contact further if follow up needed.
Best regards, Dr. Sagar
