When Does Period Begin After Taking Meprate?

Aft my normal delivery in 9th month i got periods light spotted daily. Dr advise me to take meprate for 5 days 2 tablet,then after 5 days taking 1 tablet for 25 days during 20th days again getting light spot daily. May i know how ll i get my periods back.

Hi I think you should get a thyroid profile and a ultrasound done to see uterus and ovaries to find out the cause of irregular periods. It can be because of hormonal imbalances also. If you are breastfeeding, it can be one of the cause. You can take some medicines like tranexamic acid to stop the bleeding. Hope it helps.
