When Does Withdrawal Bleeding Begin After Taking Misoprostol And Mifepristone?

I am four months pregnant and had inserted three tablets of miseprostol and taken one by under tongue but no effect. Now i took one misepriston and later four tablets of miseprostol. It has been two hours but no response,and have also drunk water. Is it going to affect?

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice. Mifepristone and Misoprostol should be used under the advise of the gynecologist after confirming intrauterine pregnancy by USG scan only upto 9 week of pregnancy. Generally bleeding occurs 35 to 45 minute after using Misoprostol.

But you have pregnancy of 4 months. For terminating 16 to 18 week pregnancy following are the options:

Medical treatment -- 1. Extramnionic injections- Ethracridine lactate and Prostaglandins 2. Intramnionic injections - hypertonic saline, Ethracridine lactate, Prostaglandins 3. Vaginal route: Misoprostol. Induction abortion interval is around 15 hours.

Surgical treatment -- Suction evacuation. You should go for surgical process as it is successful and bleeding is less compare to medical treatment.So consult the gynecologist and take proper treatment.
