When Does Withdrawal Bleeding Begin After Taking Provera?

I was prescribed by my doctor with Provera for 7 days then she said i will have withdrawal bleeding after 3 to 7 days then i will start drinking Althea Pills 21 cycle, but it will be 14th day tmr and i haven't any bleeding. Is it ok to start the pills even i nvr had any bleeding or spotting after Provera. Hopefully someone can answer me. Thank you so much

Hi I think if you did not bleed after provera, you may need a combination of oestrogen and progesterone for inducing periods. Talk to your doctor regarding this. Get a thyroid profile and prolactin level and a ultrasound done to see uterus and ovaries to find out the cause of irregular periods. Hope it helps.
