When Does Withdrawal Bleeding Begin After Taking An Emergency Contraceptive Pill?

So we have unprotected sex. He withdaws it and he said he did not put somthing on my vagaina, im still worried so i took ecp pill. That was around apr24 then on apr 26 i took the pills 4 pills on first dose then after 12hrs another 4pills. How long will i have my period and what does withdrawal bleeding means does it means your period on that months aswell? Cause most of the blogs im reading at says it is dif and others says its not? Is is also effective the time i took the pills its aroun 36hr? How long i have to wait to get my withdrawal bleeding?

Hi, I think you can take emergency pill within 72 hours of unprotected intercourse. So, it will be effective in your case. Withdrawal bleeding can occur within 2 weeks of the tablets. But it is not always necessary to bleed after taking emergency pill. You may get your normal periods in time or it can get delayed also. So, withdrawal bleeding is not same as your periods but it will be counted as your periods only and you will get next periods one month after that.Hope it helps.
