Hi when is it safe safe to have unprotected sex?before or after periods?My case for example started my periods on 18th march-24march,then on 26th had unprotected sex.what are the chances of getting pregnant if hadnt used ECP,(which i did use the same day)Would i have been safe if hadnt used the pills?

Welcome to healthcaremagic.com.unprotected intercourse in any stage of menstrual cycle can get you pregnant as the sperms can stay upto 5 days in the genital tract,more so if you had itr during fertile period of your cycle i.e if you have a cycle of 28 days days 10-20 will be most fertile.
