Hi doctor My baby is 2.5 months old he is breast feeding still but for aome days i gave him morinaga bf 1 for 2 times a day then he stopd pooping for 5 to 6 days im having issue to feeding him during outdoor can you tell should i give My baby lactogen-1 3 times a day nd one more thing My baby is crying while i breastfeeding him he refuses to feeding then started crying he also not gaimg wieght because only 5 minutes he is feeding My milk then he is hungry crying but not feeding My milk what can i do im that case?? Please help
I suggest you avoid top feed and breastfeed your son as top feed contains sugar so it's quite tasty and then gradually the baby refuses to take breastfeed which is not good for the health of your baby. Try to breastfeed him even outside as it is good for the baby and to you as well. If you can't manage to breastfeed him outdoor then you can continue giving him lactogen 1 up to 6 months.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Naira Jahangir, OB and GYN Specialist
