I have had 3 ICSI s and multiple IUI s and still not have been able to get pregnant. The doctor that i am visiting now, is insisting on doing a laproscopy, since she says it is unexplained infertility and wants to try with lap and see if that could bring in some success. I had done my HSG and my tubes are normal, but that was 8 years back. Could you advice if i should be going through laproscopy.
Yes HSG can check from the inner side of your tube.
Laproscopy will check the presence of peritubal adhesion, if any and also for endometriosis (Presence of endometrial tissue outside uterus). Endometriosis and peritubal adhesion may be a problem for infertility.
