When Is The Best Time To Take Blood Pressure Medication?
My Amlodopine dosage was changed from 2.5mg BID to 2.5mg/1x day last night. I also take metoprolol tartrate 50mg BID & Lisinopril 20mg BID. My dr had ordered my BP meds this way for convince. I get fatique & blurry vision from one of these BP meds. I take Adderall 10mg BID to TID for ADD, Trileptal for BPD. I take baclofen 20mg TID for muscle spasm & TGN and Valium 5mg hs for sleep. I have mild sleep apnea. Last night was treated in the ER for bradycardia & hyponatremia. My question is: When is the best time to take my B/P meds? Which one(s) should I take in the am & which ones should I take hs? Thanks! Fran

When Is The Best Time To Take Blood Pressure Medication?
Hello, It mainly depends upon your blood pressure control. If blood pressure is not under control, then you have to take twice a day. Usually medications given in the morning. So kindly consult with physician. Hope I have answered your query and let me know if I can assist you further. Regards, Dr Shyam Kale Family and general physician
