Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Amlodipine drug is a calcium channel blocker that is commonly prescribed to treat high blood pressure, chest pain (angina) and other conditions caused by coronary artery disease.

It does not matter what time of day you take Amlodipine but it is best to take it at the same time every day for more even blood levels and therefore effectiveness.

Metoprolol and Amlodipine drugs may have additive effects in lowering your blood pressure and heart rate.

You should consult your doctor if you experience headache, dizziness, lightheadedness, fainting, and/or changes in pulse or heartbeat. These side effects are most likely to be seen at the beginning of treatment, following a dose increase, or when treatment is restarted after an interruption.

You may need a dose adjustment or more frequent monitoring by your doctor to safely use both medications.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Mohammed Taher Ali
