When Should HIV Confirmation Test Be Taken After Unsafe Sex?
i had sex with a prostitue 5 weeks before ...problem is that while doing inercourse my condom got fractured at the tip and i removed my penis aftr 10 secs from her vagina....it was my ist time i did it but no semen exchange occured between us because condom got fractured suddenly after insertion...plz tell me should i go for hiv confirmation test or not?if yes then when to go for it?

I understand, there is very little chance of you getting transmitted, still it will be better to go for a testing. Now 4th generation HIV ELISAs are available, which can detect at this time also (5th week post exposure).
