When Should I Consult Doctor After A Cat Bite?

This morning I saw a baby kitten in the road so I pulled over stoped traffic and took it to the other side of the road, in the meantime it bite me on the pinky finger and scrached me twice. The bite wasnt very deep but it did draw blood, the scraches didnt bleed but are sore. Ive washed it with hot water and soap, I also put alcohol and peroxide on it as well as neosporin. my question is whether or not to go to the doctor ( I feel fine)

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

It would be best to see a doctor for an assessment.

Cat bites can cause infections that require a course of antibiotics.

You may also need a tetanus and rabies injection if neither of these is up to date.

I hope this helps
