When Should Susten Be Taken For The Treatment Of PCOD?
Hi, I have PCOD and irregular periods problem. my last period date was on 4th Sep. I am trying to conceive now. My doctor have suggested me susten 300 from 18th day(I am not sure from which day should i start). is it for regularizing periods or for pregnancy? Please suggest me from which day should i take it exactly. Thanks in Advance.
Susten 300 mg tablet is a plant derived medication and has a similar action to the female hormone, progesterone. Since your doctor has told to take it from 18th day, it is for aiding implantation and pregnancy. Count your days from the 1st day the period began and take it from 18th day as prescribed. Kindly do the necessary follow-up with your doctor as advised.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Ashakiran S, General & Family Physician
