When Should A Pregnancy Test Be Done After Taking Duphaston?
Hi,I had iui and was asked to take duphaston 10mg for 14days and I was told to take home pregnancy test ..Test was negative ..Actually I took the test on periods due date .. Should I wait for another 10days for pregnancy test or will I start bleeding ?
I understand your concern. Considering that you have been taking Duphaston, the possibility of pregnancy is high. You may start bleeding one of these days, if not, I suggest you to redo another pregnancy test after 10 days, if it is negative you should consult your doctor.
However, you should also consider, serum beta hCG analysis that is more sensitive test for the confirmation of pregnancy.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Dr. Suela Gjata,
