When Should Ambien Sleeping Pill Be Taken After A Meal?

Hey Doc, My name is Shannon and I am a 27 year old female. I just have a really simple question. How long do I need to wait to take my Ambien sleeping pill after a meal .... Since it states on the bottle to only take on an empty stomach. Thanks so much, Shannon Shannon

Hi.

I had gone through your query.

Ambien is clonazepam and it is nbenzodiazapin. It is useful to maintain sleep in proper cycle.

It is advisable to take it 1 hour before go to bed. Its action started within 1 hour after taking it so it is better to take just 1 hour before sleep.

It can be taken in empty stomach and no side effect if you are taking it with meal.

So take proper advise from your treating doctor.

I hope i have answered your query.

Thank you.
