When Should An Anti Rabies Shot Be Taken After A Dog Bite?
hello doctor, i was bitten by a dog on one of my right hand finger around 10 years back. the dog(puppy) is unvaccined and i am not sure whether the dog died or not after it bit me..as of now i am not having any sign of rabies .. but i am very much afraid of that now..will i have a rabies?? If yes, then can i have rabies vaccine now ?? please help me on this as i am getting very much scared of it.

For rabies infection the incubation period is 20 to 60 days. Mostly you need not worry. Very rarely after 7 years case reported but reason not known.
If you are worried too much, no problem taking ARV vaccine course after consulting your family doctor.
