Hi,

Can you mention your symptoms too? Widal test of 1:80 is just marginal, and can not diagnose typhoid. The best way to diagnose typhoid is blood culture.

If diagnosed, there is no definite cut off to start a regular diet. The usual practice is to wait until our body is ready to accept- ie. when no more high grade fever, no abdominal pain, and appetite returns.

Hope I have answered your queries. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Muhammed Aslam TK
