When Will I Have Periods After Removing Mirena And Having Intercourse?
hello, My husband and I wanted to try for another baby, so I removed my mirena on October 7, 2013 after 5 1/2 years. My husband went on a trip and we thought that by the time he returns, my body would go back to normal. After my removal, I did not bleed at all. My husband returned and on December 2, 2013 we had intercourse that night and I bled that night and the next day. Since then, I have not seen a period. When will I get my period? Or is it possible to be pregnant. I took two hpt and both were negative.
Many women experience menstrual irregularities after using brith control devices like the mirena, which is why all doctors mention the side effects before implantation of the same.
I am afraid you could also be experiencing the same and so I would advise you to report to your prescribing doctor for further management.
Hope this helps.
Best wishes.
