When Will Periods Start After Removal Of Implanon?

so im 18 years old i had my son on jan. 8th 2009 and got the implanon in my arm march 17 2009. me and my husband are wanting to concieve so i took it out may 12 2010. im still breastfeeding and have not had a period since before the implanon. my son wont stop nursing and im scared that will effect me ovulating? when will i get a period after implanon and when will i ovulate if i took the implanon out but im still breastfeeding? will that effect my fertility hes 1 1/2 years old and only nurses maybe at the max 4-5 times a day

After implanon there is return of ovulation and fertility in 1 month but in your case you are breast feeding your baby which will prevent ovulation and conception.
Wean off your child of breast milk now and start other feeds.
This will help you in conception.
