Where Is The Right Kidney Located?

Where is the right kidney located? I have had kidney stones. My doctor is concerned about the function of one kidney resulting from a blood test. Would there be a soreness from the kidney. The soreness is just above the bend of the leg and hip. I have a follow up appointment in early March.

I suggest you continue that appointment.
The kidney is in the back behind the rib cage, but pain from a stone can be felt in other locations like you described.
