Which Antidepressant Possess Least Side Effect?

I have tried taking a variety of antidepressants & they all seem to have some side effect that I cant tolerate.ie tiredness or sinus headache or chewing my tongue all the time or yawning continually or not being able to pass urine. Which antidepressants are the least likely to cauuse these effects? my Dr has recently suggested Lexapro but a friend of mine had those & put on heaps of weight. I don't want that to happen, otherwise I would be even more depressed than I am now.

Hello.An antidepressant widely used that not causes weight gain is Fluoxetine (in fact, inhibits appetite). In the early days causes anxiety and insomnia (is recommended to take in conjunction with an anxiolytic as lorazepam or alprazolam) but after is well tolerated and the anxiolytic is not necessary.
