Which Autoimmune Disease Causes Joint Pain And Muscle Weakness?

I am a 55 year old woman. Height 5 8 weight 225. I recently saw a rheumatologist for joint pain and muscle weakness. He did extensive lab work and I received a letter stating the lab work indicated an autoimmune disease. I have also had petechiae that covers most of my lower legs and feet for some time now. Any information you can give me on a specific autoimmune disease that might be the cause and possible treatments?

dear Madam

there are many autoimmune diseases which can cause such symptoms, the best person to pinpoint the syndrome would be your rheumatologist,

the treatment options available are also many, my sincere suggestion would be to pay a visit to your rheumatologist and get started on the treatment suggested,
once the diagnosis and suggested line of treatment has been finalized if you have any questions on that aspect you are most welcome to ask
I find this answer helpful
