Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Which Genre Of NSAIDS Are Recommended For Pain Due To Lumbar Radiculopathy?
I was advised to take NSAID to reduce inflammation and severe pain due to lumbar RADICULOPATHY, the result of a 36-year traumatic fractured lumbar vertebra. The complications: I m currently taking 0.125 mg-0.25 mg Clonazepam, 20 mg Propranolol, and Aspirin 325 mg daily. These RXs are for residual brain tumor and brain stem cyst myoclonic disorder. The atrial fibs plus bradycardia resulted from post-brain stems surgery. Since I have very low drug tolerance and subject to adverse reactions, I wan to know which NSAID I should take and when should I take it.
Welcome at HCM I have gone through your query and being your physician I completely understand your health concerns. As far as NSAIDS are concerned , you can take DICLOFENAC SODIUM or NIMESULDIDE..... these are good ones in treating the pain in your case. you may also need muscle relaxants like TIZANIDINE as well. Meanwhile stay calm and meet orthopedic surgeon. Get well soon Hope your query is adequately addressed if you still have any feel free to ask Regards Dr Saad Sultan
