Which Is Better Medication For Shakes Due To Alcohol Withdrawal Propranolo Or Hydroxyzine Pam?
Hi, I have been going through alcohol withdraws...ecpecially tremors/shakes. I recently went through detox, but my shaking hasn't gone away. I also have Anxiety. I'm am taking Zoloft for antidepression and anxiety, however, I had 2 different doctors prescribe 2 different scrips but they don' seem to help with the shaking. Propranolo (40 mg, pill) and another doctor perscribed Hydroxyzine Pam (50 mg). Which of the 2 would you recomend, if either.

In my clinic I would choose Propranolol to treat alcohol induced tremors/shakes provided the cardiac system is perfect.Hope this helps.
