Yes, you should take your doctor to an adult
neurologist or epileptologist. There are several good anti-epileptic drugs for adults. With them, it is possible to achieve good
seizure control in about 70% of patients.
The remaining 30% of patients may not improve with medications, and are called as medically-
refractory epilepsy cases. For some of them,
epilepsy surgery would be a good option.
