Which Is The Best Treatment For Hashimoto Disease?
I have hashimoto disease with normal t3 and t4 the nodulers are confined in the thyroid the thryroid is 5.0 cm wide with a lot of blood flow shown on the ultra sound there is multiple nodules up to the largest at 3.2 cm on medicine they have shrunk a little not much what would you suggest
If you are having large size nodules (>1cm) you should consult a doctor and get a needle test (FNAC) done from the thyroid nodule. This will tell you whether you can keep the nodules or do a surgery to remove. Your hashimotos hypothyroidism has to be treated with Thyroid hormone replacement, whether you do surgery or not.
Hope I have answered your question. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help.
