Which Medicine Is Advisable For The Testicle Inflammation?

my husband doctor told my husband he had a epididymitis/orchitis and a urinary tract infection , gave him 10 days of cipro and also sulindac for inflamation, which he could not take, has heart problems, taking fluid pills,had blood clots. one of his balls are swollen. what can he take for this inflamation H e is taking Pradaza has diabetes. what else to get this swelling down.He is already elevating this, when sitting or lying down.

Hi thank you for querry.
Symptoms of isolated orchitis usually resolve spontaneously in approximately 3-10 days, whereas epididymitis will usually resolve in a similar time after initiation of antibiotic treatment.
Supportive treatment includes bed rest, hot or cold packs for analgesia, and scrotal elevation.
Emperical antibiotic therapy necassry to eradicate the specific organaism.
Ciprofloxacin,oflaxacin,ceftriaxone,Septran
,Azithromycine and doxycycline are used in such condition.
consult your doctor to choice specific therapy with least interaction to already using medication.
