Which Syrup Needs To Be Suggested For 6 Month Old Suffering From Cold And Cough?
Hi I need a help: I live in Bangalore, India and our kid is 6 months old and weighs around 8.3Kgs. She is suffering from cold and cough. I have 2 mediciens with me; not sure which one to use? Ventorlin Syrup from GlaxoSmithKline Syrup (Salbutamol Sulphate Syrup IP) or Cheston from Cipla Also please let me know the dosage as well Thanks and regards, Dharmendra

None of the above medication are recommended for a 6 month old baby suffering from upper respiratory infection.
Instead i would suggest the following
1. Nasoclear nasal drugs for instillation in nose 2 drops in each nostril 4 times a day.
2. 1 cup of milk+10 Tulsi leaves+ 2 Black pepper+1/2 spoon of turmeric. Bring the mixture to boil. feed him with wati and spoon when still warm
