Which test is better for Hiv MEIA or ELISA .I also want to know that a TONIK of iron to reduse the blod in to the body can effect the hiv test result. Plz help realy need ANSWER.and Sorry for my english misstecs.

HIV MEIA or ELISA both are equally effective tests.
Iron tonics do not affect the results of the test.
HIV ELISA is commonly done . you can repeat the test after 6 months if you have been exposed to any high risk behaviour.
If positive on ELISA , the confirmatory test is western blot test.
